Look after your (virtual) self. Invest in some ‘me’ time!
This presentation introduces ‘myBrand’, a collection of resources to help students confidently use the web to promote themselves and their work. As well as tips on self-promotion and digital identity management, there is also advice about keeping safe online, e-literacy skills and legalities such as copyright, so that students are equipped with the online skills they need to become successful global citizens.
As the University was introducing PebblePad at the same time, myBrand is presented as a webfolio and contains specific information about how to use the various tools in order to plan personal development and compile an e-portfolio.
