myBrand aims to support and advise students in using the web to promote themselves and their work safely and confidently. It provides links to resources supporting e-literacy skills, identity-management, e-safety and legal considerations. Previously available as a webfolio, it has now been re-vamped and re-branded as eGo and is available as an e-book which can be embedded into any blog or website, including Tulip sites. To do this:
- copy the embed code from http://issuu.com/fleapalmer/docs/ego
- in Tulip, add a web part – select ‘Content Editor’ from the ‘Media & Content’ folder
- select HTML view (available on the ‘ribbon’)
- paste the embed code into the HTML window
- click on the ‘Stop Editing’ button
(you can also embed YouTube videos and Prezi presentations using this method)
